Starting this spring, Danube Logistics plans to introduce a regular shipping service between Moldova and Istanbul via Giurgiulesti Port, for the shipment of general and bulk cargo. Evolving from spot shipments based on customers’ request, and due to increased demand, it gradually grew into a regular activity of Danube Logistics.
“We gained considerable experience establishing our weekly Giurgiulesti-Constanta route for transportation of containers and believe that Giurgiulesti-Istanbul route will be as efficient and welcomed. We start with monthly shipments and aim to increase the frequency to a weekly service in the second half of the year” said Thomas Moser, general director.
