Today, June 18, 2013 deputy prime minister, minister of Economy Valeriu Lazar together with the Minister of Transport and Road Infrastructure Vasile Botnari, director of Rail Way Vitalie Struna, and a number of officials from other state agencies visited Giurgiulesti International Free Port.
During the meeting the administration of Danube Logistics presented updates on the undergoing construction and business development projects, as well as discussed various issues related to operation activities
The meeting was concluded with a site visit around the port, in particular the currently implemented construction of the mixed-gauged (both EU and CIS rail systems) rail terminal for liquid bulk cargo as well as for containerized goods.
